LABOR MEETING
At this event we had the valuable presence of Mr. Zarko Luksic of the Ministry of Justice and Ms. María Cristina Gajardo, professor of the University of Chile. Both speakers explained the new regulations associated with unfair dismissal of employees. While Ms. Gajardo explained the importance that employers have all employee papers in order; Mr. Luksic emphasized that during this process the workers will have more instances to reach an agreement so to avoid the case being resolved in the labor court.

The Final Round of the Third Annual Great Corporate Debate 2009 took place on Monday August 31, 2009 in the Universidad Andres Bello.
Seguros Interamericana won the debate.
The motion was: the UF should be abolished.
Central de Restaurantes - Aramark argued in favor of the motion and Seguros Interamericana defended it.
The Seguros Interamericana team included: Luis Novelo, Sebastián Trivelli, Teresa Ripamonti and Germán Gaymer.
