Desde el 2002 trabaja en Chile en la consultora Australiana de servicios de ingeniería GHD. Es Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocios en las áreas de Agua, Medio Ambiente, energía e inspecciones técnicas. Su experiencia en el área de ingeniería incluye suministro de agua, estudios de inundación, estudios de impacto ambiental y auditorías ambientales y due diligence. Además, ha participado en el proceso de inicio de una empresa Australiana en Chile.
La Sra. Chick posee el título doble de Ingeniero Civil y Medio Ambiental y de Estudios Internacionales de la Universidad Tecnológica de Sydney (UTS). A través de sus estudios participó en un programa de intercambio de un año en Latina America donde estudio un semestre en la Universidad de Adolfo Ibáñez. Asimismo, participó en el Programa Reto Juvenil donde lideraba los fines de semanas la selección de los candidatos para trabajar en el extranjero como voluntarios. En 1996, Kylie trabajó como voluntaria construyendo un colegio en Costa Rica.
Kylie ha trabajado en Australia, Chile y Perú y habla inglés y castellano. Casada con un hijo y le fascina las actividades en el aire libre, los deportes y viajar.

Kylie Chick

Kylie has been working in Chile with the Australian engineering consulting company, GHD, since 2002 and has
hence been involved in the process of an Australian company starting business in Chile.
Kylie is the Business Development Manager for the Water, Environment, Ports and Infrastructure, Power and
Technical Inspection areas of GHD's business in Chile.
Kylie's engineering experience includes water supply, flooding studies, environmental impact studies,
environmental auditing and environmental due diligence.
Kylie holds a double degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and International Studies at the University of
Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Through this degree she was involved in a year-long exchange program in Latin America where she spent a
semester studying at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Viña del Mar, Chile. Kylie has been involved in the
Youth Challenge program where she ran weekend-long selection programs to send volunteers to different
countries around the world. In 1996, Kylie worked as a volunteer in Costa Rica.
Kylie has worked in Australia, Chile and Peru and speaks both English and Spanish.
She is married with a baby boy, and loves outdoor activities, sports and travel.
