Carlos Prat es Gerente Legal de Xstrata Copper en Chile, a cargo de los departamentos Legal y de Propiedad Minera de la compañía, con responsabilidad de proporcionar asesoramiento jurídico a todas las operaciones y proyectos de Xstrata Copper en Chile.
Anteriormente, entre los años 2001 y 2007 trabajó en el estudio de abogados Cariola, Diez, Perez Cotapos & Cía. Ltda.
Estudio Derecho en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y se tituló de abogado en el año 2001. En el año 2005, obtuvo el Magister en Derecho y Políticas Mineras del CEPMLP, Universidad de Dundee, Escocia.

Carlos Prat is the Legal Affairs Manager of Xstrata Copper in Chile, in charge of the company's legal and
mining property departments and with the responsibility of providing legal advice to all the operations
and projects of Xstrata Copper in Chile.
Previously, he worked in the law firm Cariola, Diez, Perez Cotapos & Cia. Ltda. between 2001 and 2007.
Mr. Prat studied Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and was admitted to the Bar in 2001.
He also obtained a Master Degree in Mineral Law & Policy from the CEPMLP, Dundee University, Scotland,
in 2005.
